A nine-year-old single malt from Glenallachie's Wood Finish series that was initially matured in American oak barrels before being re-racked and finished in Kentucky rye whiskey casks, adding a spicy edge to its character.
Aromas of cinnamon, honey, treacle and orange peel fill the nose. The palate offers notes of stewed spices, honey-glazed pastries, butterscotch, treacle, orange zest and ginger.
