Our vision was to offer something different and memorable to our family, friends and fellow drinkers. After travelling the length and breadth of Scotland and seeking out carefully matured casks from the most remote places, we have now turned our passion into a reality. Our whisky casks have been individually paired with a complementary wine finish, giving each dram its own special character. For this edition we chose Tulip Winery. Nestled in the hillside of Northern Israel is a small, agricultural community for residents with special needs. The winery employs members of the community, allowing them the chance for meaningful occupation. Each of these whiskies was finished for several months in hand picked Tulip Syrah wine barrels. This particular harvest of Syrah grapes were lusciously ripe and fruity - influencing the whisky with softer tannin, jammier fruit and spice notes of licorice, anise and earthy leather.
Neus: Intens fruitig en rijk. Winegums, sinaasappelschil, gekarameliseerde suiker en mooie oude eiken kruiden.
Smaak: Intens fruitig, stroperig en vet. rode wijn met mandarijn en rijke specerijen.
Afdronk: Vet en vol, met de zoetheid van rozijnen en zachte kruiden blijven hangen.
