De Tomintoul Distillery ligt in het prestigieuze Glenlivet gebied, in het hart van de Speyside regio van de Schotse Hooglanden. De relatief jonge distilleerderij, daterend uit 1966, is in korte tijd tot grote bloei gekomen.

70cl / 43% De rijping vindt plaats op ex-bourbon en ex-sherry vaten. Vanuit de Benriach distilleerderij is uitgesproken dat deze botteling een belangrijke positie gaat innemen binnen het assortiment.
