Afkomstig van een niet nader genoemde Orkney-distilleerderij. Deze 6 jaar oude botteling heeft 6 jaar gerijpt in 100% Bourbon-vaten. Het proefpanel van Cadenhead gaf commentaar op de heerlijke romige aard van deze dram, met prominente tonen van ontluikende gaspeldoorn, custardcrèmes, heidehoning en stroopwafels om er maar een paar te noemen.

De Mirador is een “second fill barrel malt profile” whisky. Deze botteling bestaat uit whisky’s van minder dan 2 jaar tot bijna 5 jaar oud, maar omdat alle rijping plaatsvond in “gebruikte vaten”, komt het eikenprofiel veel zachter over dan sommige van de whisky’s van Balcones die maar half zo oud zijn.
